Dear Baie D’Urfé Town Council,

As a Baie D’Urfé resident, I would like to register my support for the proposal that the Town of Baie D’Urfe use a small portion  of our $8,000,000. accumulated surplus funds to provide citizens with a full-sized outdoor refrigerated ice rink base for an extended winter skating season with a pleasure skating trail and permanent chalet with indoor washroom facilities.The skating areas concrete base would also be used for a variety of summer activities such as ball hockey, roller blading, volley ball, basketball, skateboarding etc. This facility would have a year-round value to residents.

I believe that a small portion, approximately $850,000. – $1,150,000 of our Town’s accumulated surplus should be spent on projects and facilities which will benefit all residents.

Please accept this letter as my vote towards this community orientated recreational project becoming a reality in our town.
