The Team Ice project is receiving great support from residents of our town:
It is with great enthusiasm that I support the project for an exterior refrigerated ice rink in order to finally be able to play hockey in the best conditions from November to April.
This wonderful initiative can easily be financed by the surplus accumulated by the town, and would be a “super” investment in the health of our citizens. And, once completed, will become the envy of all the neighbouring cities in the West Island and will be a model to follow, of this I am convinced.
The benefits of physical activity in fresh air in optimal conditions will really motivate the citizens of Baie d’Urfé, young and old, to get out of the house and profit from it.

Vincent Damphousse – played for les Canadiens for 7 seasons from 1992 to 1999. He was team captain and a member of the team that won the Stanley Cup in 1993. He is a resident of Baie-D’Urfé

Rick Green – played for the Canadiens for 7 seasons from 1982-1989 and was a member of the Canadiens team that won the Stanley Cup in 1986 and resident of Baie-D’Urfé.
